The excitement before a first helicopter flight is part of the experience, but a few small things worth knowing in advance will make it even smoother and more relaxed. Here are the questions we are asked most before takeoff.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes in layers: at flight altitude it can be cooler than on the ground, even in summer. Closed shoes are recommended, and it is best to avoid loose hats and scarves. Sunglasses are a great addition, especially on morning and midday flights.

Before takeoff: a short briefing

Every flight begins with the pilot's safety briefing: how to approach the helicopter, how to buckle up and how to use the headset. It takes just a few minutes, and afterwards you will know exactly what to expect. No prior experience is needed.

What can I photograph?

Almost everything! Phones and cameras are welcome on board, and the views from the air are a perfect backdrop. Just hold your device firmly, keep hands and equipment inside, and follow the pilot's guidance about areas where photography is restricted.

Where is the best place to sit?

The window seat is the big winner: the best camera angle and a full sense of space. On couple and family flights we make sure everyone gets a view, and the pilot will gently bank the helicopter so every side enjoys the scenery.

Who is it for?

Almost everyone: no special fitness is needed, and the flight is far more stable and pleasant than most people imagine. Even those wary of heights usually find that a helicopter feels completely different: the sense of security in a closed, stable cabin is a pleasant surprise. Have a medical question or a special concern? Tell us in advance and we will adapt the flight.

That is it: you are ready for your first takeoff. All that is left is to choose a route, and we will take care of everything else.
